The Society of Jesus, also known as the Jesuits, needed a website that would serve as a replacement for a quarterly publication they produce. Using WordPress as the core element of the website, Killer Bee Web Design LLC also developed a WordPress theme that would easily allow them to post their publication online.

This website spawned out of my love for movies about the undead and learning how to use PHP/MySQL/Javascript in one website. The website’s main focus is to provide a 100 question exam to determine the ability of the user to survive a zombie apocalypse. Based upon their choices, they are ranked using a point system, and then given the ability to have their name saved to a database. The database then displays their ranking on a scoreboard page. Also with the page is a forum for people of like mind to discuss all things zombie related.

Virginia Architectural Metals is a custom metal design shop that constructs beautiful metal designs for businesses and residential homes across the United States.  They needed a website that could be updated easily and show their wonderful work.  Killer Bee Web Design LLC modernized their logo and generated a layout theme that meshed with their profession.  The website has several galleries and slide shows that highlight their work and business. Under the hood the website allows VAM to keep track of their visitors, automatically have their content changes sent to the primary search engines, and produce new galleries of their own.  It was a real treat to build them a website.

The National Jesuit News needed a blog to present the latest events related to the activities of its order. We setup Wordpress to run from their servers and designed a custom template to display their blog.  The blog is now able to give its readers a multimedia experience while presenting the latest happenings of the order.

A website/blog devoted to beekeeping in Charlottesville, Virginia.  The site is built off of Wordpress and a customized template suited to match the season of the year. The website includes a forum section, a contact page, a comment board, search engine optimization, XML sitemap which is automatically updated as new content is added, and a comment spam filter.

The Artisans Hand Pottery website is owned by Phyllis Handal of Maryland.  Her work is a fusion of traditional Chinese calligraphy, modern forms, and organic themes.  From the beautiful line drawings of her insect work to her colorful paintings of garden vegetables and fruits.  Each handmade item represents hours of work and craftsmanship.  Her website was built using .html code and CSS styling sheets.

Charlottesville Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is the premier Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai training facility in the Charlottesville and Albemarle County area.  Cville BJJ needed a website that would be a billboard for their business online and allow the school to quickly post new events and photo galleries of their recent tournaments and seminars.  Using Wordpress as a foundation, we generated the pages and content they needed and included several plugins to allow the owner to post events in a public calendar, announcements for the front page, a photo gallery, and a contact form.

Susan Ahlfield of Ahlfield Massage needed a basic web presence to give her customers information about the services she provides, her locations, and pricing.  We built her a website using Wordpress, a custom theme template generated in house, and custom graphics generated to fit neatly into the soothing theme.  Susan is now able to quickly make content changes on her own using the CMS like page structure that Wordpress offers. The website also includes a contact page, search engine optimization, a XML sitemap which is automatically updated as new content is added.

Blackstone Coffee Roasters needed a web presence that would describe the business, uniqueness, and location.  Killer Bee Web Design generated a theme layout to match their logo and graphic content that would highlight their business, the sale of freshly roasted coffee.  Flash animation was used to create a slide show of the coffee roasting process so customers could see the hands on process by the owner, Don Meritt. The website was coded using .html and css styling sheets.

The dental office of Derek J. Galatro, DDS - Jennifer Wadiak, DDS - Toni Collado, DDS needed a web presence so that potential clients could find them easily.  We generated a custom layout for their page with a fresh new look and included page content that would be useful to patients including a page containing documents, contact form, and list of links to specialized treatments the offices performs.  All of the pages were generated using .html and .css styling sheets.

John Giannico needed a website to give his work an online presence.  A wood worker of immense talent, John makes custom furniture and art using exotic woods from around the world.  We were able to build him a website that gave a description of his business, the type of wood working he does, and a large image gallery containing samples of his work.  A page was also included with a Contact form that would allow users to get a hold of John via the website.  All of the work was generated using .html and CSS styling sheets.

The New Post Golf Range needed a site that would simply give the key details to its users.  To that end we generated a single tabloid size page that contained all of the relevant information to the Golf Range. Hours, prices, contact information, and a weather monitor.  The site was generated using .html and CSS style sheets.

Cardagin Networks needed a website presence for an IPhone application they are developing that will eliminate the need for carrying customer loyalty punch cards.  Instead of using your paper punch card all of your visits to a business establishment can be recorded using your mobile device.  The website currently is being used as an informational brochure describing the application and a news release archive for new announcements related the applications development and deployment.

Rodrigue Studios is the collaborative effort of Crystal and Kevin Rodrigue, two artists in the Fredericksburg, Virginia area.  They needed a web presence to highlight their art and announce new showings of their work.  Working closely with them we designed a sharp looking template that matches their style of work.  The website was built on Wordpress which will allow them to easily make changes to its content on their own.  A custom gallery was generated to display their work and a contact page was added for users to contact the Rodrigues via the website.
